so much food! so much wine! so much champagne! so much crowd!

there was even a church volunteer group tt came by my area and did some caroling!

ah, the wonderful atmosphere of christmas.

and bad things started to happen when the police arrived & gave us a warning of making too much noise.

stupid spoilt kembangan neighbours, always complaining at the slightest things.

christmas is supposed to be a beautiful, family get-together. (ya, tts what you thought till u reached adolescent!)

we were all making merry with all tt good bordeux wine and my aunt had a little too much to drink. in fact, both of my aunts except that one of them held their liquor better than the other. both of them started crying when most of the people started leaving.

it was when it struck me.

i cannot ever be like that. i cannot end up like them.

i know why they cry and seeing them crying and vomitting hurts me like crazy. we had to leave them alone to talk because we all knew, no one understand better unless they’ve been through it too.

that reminds me of a saying “dont involve someone else when making decisions because it would be rubbish if the outcome doesnt involve them”

every night, im still haunted by having to live without a partner when im already of marriageable age. yes, im still objectively positively sure im not getting into any relationship anytime too soon but every girl dreams to have a guy that loves and adore her.

i have people around me that i observe and analysed. and i came to a conclusion that if you know things are NOT going anywhere with him/her, please by all means, give yourself a chance and your partner a chance to change. if changes dont happen, maybe he/she isnt the one. and sometimes i see partners so stubborn and so reluctant to do things for their other partner, i feel so sad. isnt love supposed to be all perfect, forgiving, caring, full of zest and more love?

i dont know about you but i think love is underrated, underestimated and obviously taken for granted. couples being together isnt just spending time, money, going out having fun, doing things together or even the physical part, being a couple has so much more than just all these.

i will not stop at finding someone mediocre, by that it doesnt mean looks, money or intelligence. by that i meant, why start something or even continue with it when you know it doesnt feel right? just cuz its “cool” to have a partner?

i see girls that make good girlfriends and good wives but they stay with shitty partners. i see guys that make caring boyfriends and good fathers but they get bad girls. even so, i still believe the world isnt all that black and gloomy. i still believe in natural selection.

back to my story, seeing my aunts so hurt, my heart peeled like a banana. i cannot find any other word to use to express how my heart literally peeled. being female is so darn difficult. when you love a man, he doesnt love you anymore. when you want a man, you dont get one or dont meet nice ones. when you dont think youre ready for love, you get weird people falling for you. when you hate love, you find it at every corners. when you’re a guy, you do what you want, you take what you want, you can chose to care or not to care, you definitely can get away with almost anything if you start treating the girl nice. im not stereotyping here but i know guys that are like that, and guys that are different from that.

you guys, you atrocious egoistic guys out there. you want a Miss Independent but she cant be more successful than you. you want a demure girl but you want her to stand up and go against you. you want a wife but you cant be a husband. is this all just a  fricken joke?

how? tell me how because i’m still searching for a reason, a secret of the universe on how to maintain this state of living harmoniously with a partner?

i see with my own eyes, unjust actions. i hear with my own ears, the pains and hurt. i smell with my nose, the jealously. i feel with my heart, all the intense emotions that always rock the boat.

can people really do without a partner? would they ever get super lonely? or would they feel its so much of a load off their shoulders?

why do people get a partner? for companionship? for physical stuff? for all the status? for security? for what? tell me? for what?!

i’m so tired. im really so tired.
